The Lacopus are a reptilian species that has been allied with humanity since the beginning. The Lacopus were the first intelligent alien species that humans ever met. This meetup paved the way for the coevolution of the galaxy's two most powerful species. Like their pale skinned partners, the Lacopus are incredibly intelligent, however, they are more proactive beings that think and make decisions in the moment. This is due too their brain being sprawled out across their entire body, giving them an incredibly strong and sensitive nervous system. The species is incredly dexterouse and a master at multitasking; often time's they'll take up jobs that require quick thinking and extreme focus. Much like Humans the Lacopus toe the line between organic and mechanical as their body contains a number of synthetic materials and structures. The most notable of these features is on the back, a large lump goes down their spine, this is a specialized organ that can output energy and fluids, typically different types of fuels. This organ can be plugged into a wide range of devices as a means of control and refueling, or for extraction if in dire situations. The Lacopus also have conscious control over nearly every part of their body, this further enhances their precision and adaptability. Humans and Lacopus have a tightly woven society, they're so close in fact, that many races lump the two species under Humanity.
